Logging into the LivehelpGenie Agent Client software

Once you have completed the initial steps required for setting up the Live Chat Service on your website, you need to download the LivehelpGenie Agent Client software and install it on each Agent's computer.

Logging in for the first time into the LivehelpGenie Agent Client software

1. Click the First Time Startup Wizard icon within the LiveHelpGenie folder in your Windows Start Menu.

2. Read the given instructions and when prompted, mention your -

  • Agent Username
  • Agent Password
  • Display Name - the name you wish to display to your website visitors while chatting with them

3. You may choose to save your password, if this is not a public computer and you would be using this computer for future logins as well. Click the Save Password checkbox to accomplish this.

4. Click the Save Settings button to save all of the above. Clicking the Finish button subsequently will log you in into the LivehelpGenie client.

 

Subsequent logins into the LivehelpGenie Agent Client software

1. Click the LiveHelpGenie icon within the LiveHelpGenie folder in your Windows Start Menu.

2. If you had saved your login settings previously, you would get immediately logged in. Otherwise, you would be prompted to enter the Agent Username, Password and Display Name.
